Imagine feeling more relaxed, mentally calmer and altogether more confident…
How different would your life be if you were able to feel more self-motivated and determined do the things you really want to do? Free of fear or apprehension. Perhaps you would like to change career or start your own business, lose weight or get fit, study harder or increase sales, leave your partner or meet someone new or perhaps something else important to you.
Motivation is often a two-way street where you are moving away from a situation you don’t want to be in and moving towards one that you do. One thing is for certain though; it’s easier to get somewhere if you look where you are going and focus on a positive future rather than dwelling on the past.
Most of us have experienced times when we have procrastinated and delayed making change. That relationship we didn’t end early enough; that job that we stayed in too long or that opportunity we delayed going for and let slip by. How often have we sabotaged our own motivation by saying, “I cannot possibly do that,” or “It’s beyond my capability,” or “I’m not strong enough to make this decision”? But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Why do we sabotage ourselves from time to time? Perhaps it’s because we let our ego get in the way instead of following our non-judgmental unconscious mind or inner wisdom.
Clients often have important decisions on their mind. Should I leave my partner? Should I quit my job? Should I go for that promotion? Should I follow my head or my heart? The only person, of course, who can answer their questions is the questioner themselves. The therapist’s role is to help them by-pass their egos and get in touch with what they are really feeling.
Your mind and body has learned what it feels to be motivated, to feel ‘drawn towards’ something. Here at the Wisdom Room we will simply train you to use those feelings of self-motivation in worthwhile ways. We do this by working with the way you are thinking about things, because that is the source of your feelings. People experiencing a lack of self-motivation typically have a style of thinking that simply doesn’t create motivated feelings which is why our integrated approach works so well.
Using a combination of Integrated Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)we help to retrain both the conscious and unconscious parts of your mind. As a result you should be left feelingphysically more relaxed, mentally calmer and altogether more confident and motivated to follow your dreams…
Don’t be afraid to take the first step. Remember that facing your fear and making a change is the beginning of the path to wisdom and we are here to give you a helping hand.
