Hypnosis to aid Relaxation

Imagine feeling relaxed, tranquil and at peace with the world…

Increasingly in modern day life, stress has become a major topic of discussion as we speed through our hectic days. We dash about with more and more gadgets supposedly making life simpler, when in fact everyone seems to have more to do and not enough time to do it in. We try and balance family time, couple time, work-time, social time and so on. But all too frequently we don’t schedule time for ourselves.

If you add it all up it’s no surprise that a lot of us are feeling wrung out, stressed out and in need of some serious relaxation. The emotional, physiological and psychological effects caused by a build-up of mental pressure can be exhausting and can affect your relationships and your health as well as your work life.

Its good news then that you are here reading this now because you are looking in exactly the right place for help! Mind therapy using a combination of hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, NLP and life coaching skills and is probably the best integrated treatment to aid relaxation because we can talk directly to conscious and yoursubconscious mind. At the Wisdom Room we create a personalised de-stress programme just for you to help regain some of that inner balance and blissful peace of mind that you so need in your life right now.

People are stressed by many different things in life. One person might be stressed out by the thought of networking with strangers, for others it may be running late for an appointment or having to give a presentation. It’s important to bear in mind though that the situation itself does not cause the stress, otherwise everybody would be stressed by the same things. The key actually lies in how we react to that situation. When stress occurs it is because we have reacted in a negative way to the perceived stressful event, which in turn causes us to feel stressed.

Event —> Reaction to the event (thoughts) —> Feelings about the event

Here at the Wisdom Room we will explore the reasons behind why you react in particular ways in certain situations. Once we know how the stress is caused we can develop ways to change your reactions to it and help you build new ways to cope more effectively.
