The term ‘self-care’ gets thrown around a lot these days doesn’t it?

In essence, self-care really means anything that we deliberately do (or refrain from doing) with our own well-being in mind. My experience is that women in particular are often very good at looking after other people but often don’t nurture or invest in themselves. A good litmus test I often say to clients is, ‘’Would you treat or speak to someone else like that?’ If the answer is ‘No’, then remind yourself that it’s not Ok to treat yourself like that either.
