The treatment uses an integrative therapeutic approach using a combination of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Transformational Coaching and the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you de-stress by simultaneously retraining both the conscious and unconscious parts of your mind. As a result, you should be left feeling physically more relaxed, mentally calmer, and altogether more balanced and peaceful.

What happens when we are super stressed?

When we are really stressed or anxious, the physical symptoms are partly caused by the brain which sends lots of messages down nerves to make the heart, lungs, and other parts of the body ‘work faster’. In addition, you release stress hormones (such as adrenaline) into the bloodstream which affect the body. All of these changes form part of the classic ‘fight or flight’ syndrome. This is a natural and automatic response we have built in all of us since cavemen as a protection mechanism.

While useful when faced with real danger, (like a hungry tiger) this response can be problematic if it’s stimulated by events or situations which don’t hold any real danger or where the threat has been created internally and is not ‘externally real’.
